Chapter XV: A Fairy Tale
I was riding down the freeway
trying to get to my baby.
I thought we could go out for dinner
and spend a nice evening, maybe.
But then something exploded
high in the sky.
It was an A-Bomb
but don’t ask me why
it got started.
Electricity gave way to nothing.
The lights went out, the cars stopped dead.
Everywhere I looked, there were impacts.
I just couldn’t get it into my head.
